The gift shop will close 15 minutes after the above listed closing times. As the average visit to Victoria Butterfly Gardens is 45 minutes to an hour our latest admission will be sold no later than 45 minutes prior to posted closing times.

For the safety of our younger guests, no child under the age of 14 years will be admitted into the gardens without adult (19 years +) supervision. We appreciate your understanding.

Please note: Victoria Butterfly Gardens will be open late till 6:30pm Saturdays in July and August.

How To Find Us

Victoria Butterfly Gardens is located at 1461 Benvenuto Avenue in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia. It is centrally located on the beautiful Saanich Peninsula, 20 km (14 miles) north of Victoria and 19 km (12 miles) south of the Vancouver-Victoria ferry at Swartz Bay. The Victoria International Airport is also located close by, as is the Ferry from Anacortes, Washington.

Butterfly Gardens shares the same historic Benvenuto Avenue with The Butchart Gardens, (just 5 minutes away) along with our other neighbour, Church and State Wines.

Directions

From the BC Ferries terminal at Swartz Bay - Drive south on the highway and turn right at McTavish Road, and then left on West Saanich Road through the village of Brentwood Bay to Benvenuto Ave and a right turn. We're on that right turn corner.
From Victoria - Drive north on the Patricia Bay Highway #17, then turn off the highway at Keating Cross Road (Exit 18). Keating Cross Road changes into Benvenuto Avenue at West Saanich Road.

Both routes are well signed. Lots of free parking for all types of vehicles.

The Gift Shop is open daily to the public as well as guests of the Butterfly Gardens. Knowledgeable and friendly staff are ready to help you select your purchase.
