Leah graduated from York University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Education. Following her studies, Leah travelled to Victoria, British Columbia, where she developed a strong interest in the region’s coastal landscape. She relocated to Victoria in 2014 and continues to be influenced by the natural environment of the Pacific Northwest.
Leah’s work is informed by observations made during coastal walks, forest hikes, and time spent in natural settings. She documents these experiences through photography and translates them into oil paintings that reflect the character, light, and atmosphere of the surrounding landscape.
