Breathwork in the Gardens
Experience a restorative wellness session in Vancouver Island’s only tropical escape. This intimate breathwork workshop invites you to reconnect with yourself while surrounded by lush greenery, warm air, and the gentle rhythm of the gardens and its wildlife.
Tickets include private tour of Victoria Butterfly Gardens and 45 minute Breathwork session.
Begin your evening with a guided 30-minute meditative walk of the gardens that eases the transition into the warmth of the conservatory. The class begins with gentle somatic movement to help settle into the body before moving into guided breathwork.
The class welcomes all levels, and Catherine Cheong, a certified trauma-informed breathwork facilitator, will guide each step with an emphasis on accessibility and personal comfort. Guests are encouraged to bring water and wear loose, comfortable layers, as the conservatory will be warm.
Catherine Cheong has worked in the wellness field for over ten years. She is a certified Traditional Hindu Hatha Yoga Teacher and a trauma informed Breathwork Facilitator. Her training includes the Biodynamic Breathwork Trauma Release System, a method that combines breath, movement, sound and emotional regulation practices. Catherine has taught in Toronto, Montreal, Thailand, Bali, Costa Rica and now Vancouver Island. She is known for creating safe and transformative spaces focused on gentle nervous system support and self connection.
