Butterfly Gardens is located approximately 25 minutes from downtown Victoria and 15 minutes from Victoria International Airport.

We do not currently offer a bundled admission ticket. However, many visitors choose to visit both attractions during the same day due to our close proximity.

Most guests spend between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours exploring the facility, though visitors are welcome to stay longer.

Thousands of free-flying tropical butterflies can be found throughout the rainforest environment at any given time.

We continuously enhance our exhibits, educational programming, and guest experiences. Recent additions include 40 new poison dart frogs introduced in April 2026 and a new colony of honeypot ants arriving summer 2026.

We currently offer a multilingual reference guide for visitors. A fully translated website in multiple major languages is planned for Spring 2027.

We regularly welcome student groups, coach tours, cruise excursions, and special interest travel groups ranging from 10 - 200.
